This beautiful fireplace will be hand carved in a traditional style and would suit traditional or modern homes. As you can see from the photograph, its perfect for a multi fuel stoves or woodburners to sit nicely within its opening or perhaps a fire basket with a roaring open fire.

Every fireplace would be unique as the stone is locally sourced and as a natural material will contain some fossiling from the sea bed minerals and creatures and veining dating back to 145 million years ago.

The aperture of a standard size Amethyst fireplace is 800mm high from the top of the stone hearths being 850mm in the centre of the curved lintel. The height of the hearths are 50mm and the width of the opening is 800mm.

The widest point of this design is 1300mm this being the hearths and mantlepiece/shelf.

The overall height is 1150mm bedded from the floor to the top of the mantlepiece when bedded.

The Amethyst stone fireplace listed will be in sections as follows:

1 mantlepiece bullnosed- 1300mm x 150mm x 65mm

1 bullnosed lintel 1200 mm x 225mm x 100mm

2 uprights/legs bullnosed 800mm x 200mm x 100mm

3 piece outer hearth chamfered- totalling 1300mm x 400mm x 50mm (plus recommended 10mm mortar bed).

A inner back floor hearth where a stove or a fire basket would sit upon is not included but can be purchased seperately (please see our hearth listings) or contact us if your size is not there for additional costing. NO stone lined chambers are included.

As with all our Bath stone surrounds, stone mix mortar will be supplied for all joints, fixing brackets, steel dowel and resin and full installation instructions will be included. We are happy to be contacted on 07976 240893 to offer any advice on the purchase

Delivery is approximately 5 weeks please check before purchase during our busy periods as lead time can increase. The photo of the Amethyst shows a stone lined chamber and a back inner floor hearth these are not included in these costings. Photo showing is a made to measure Amethyst fireplace not to the above measurements shown and is darker due to just being fitted and contains moisture.
