The Quartz Bath stone fireplace is of a tudor arch design complimented with a chamfer running along the inside edges mirroring a chamfer on the hearths and mantlepiece. Every fireplace would be unique as the stone is locally sourced and as a natural material will contain some fossiling from the sea bed minerals and creatures and veining dating back to 145 million years ago.

The aperture of the Quartz surround is 850mm high from highest point of arch from the top of the stone hearths. The height of the hearths are 60mm when bedded and the width of the opening is 800mm. The widest point of this design is 1260mm this being the hearths and mantlepiece/shelf. The overall height is approximately 1150mm from the floor to the top of the mantlepiece. There is a three piece reducer slips (back panel) which will be tucked behind the inside of the rebated legs and underside of the lintel. This gives a builders opening of 410mm wide x 570mm high off bedded hearths.

The Quartz fireplace is in sections as follows:

1 mantlepiece 1260mm wide x 150mm depth x 65mm high

1 arched lintel rebated 1160mm wide x 225mm high x 100mm depth

2 uprights/legs rebated 800mm high x 180mm wide x 100mm depth once pointed

3 piece back panel at 40mm depth giving opening of 410mm wide x 570mm high off hearths - this back panel (reducer slips) can be amended at no additional cost as long as not altering the fireplace surround itself.

3 piece outer hearth totalling 1260mm wide x 400mm depth x 50mm high plus 10mm mortar bed these will be in 3 sections to allow for heat expansion and easier lifting.

A inner back floor hearth is not included but can be purchased seperately (please see our hearth listings).

No stone lined chamber included.

As with all our natural stone surrounds, stone mix mortar will be supplied for all joints, fixing brackets and full installation instructions will be included.
